Red Kelly started out in the NHL playing defense for the Detroit Red WIngs in 1947. After being traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs in 1959, he switched positions and played Center for the duration of his career. His stellar play earned him Hockey's highest honor, when he was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1969
